News February 3 2018:

Meanwhile, some 200 eQSLs have been sent out concerning all reports received on our test transmissions between August and December 2017 and we will soon have caught up with the remaining reports.

Introducing the MoneyPool:

When we began this project it was totally clear to us that we would need to look out for partners to co-fund our venture but we wanted to come up with the station first to prove we are able to deliver what we promise. We have installed a MoneyPool with PayPal which can be reached via the following link: Donate now! So feel free to give as much as you can afford - your donation will be visible as will be the total collected amount but your name will not be displayed. With your donation you will also qualify for some specials (e.g. extra QSL-editions, invitations to on-site barbecues and more...) but YOU will have essentially helped to keep the station going. Thanks for your support.

News December 10 2017:

We now have the 3975 kHz outlet ready to roll and had it tested extensively on Saturday afternoon into the night. Regular tests will be on the air from tomorrow onwards with the two channels alternating according to the schedule (see below) from now on. Please note we always keep an eye on the MUF (maximum usable frequency) so it may occur that we leave out a slot. This is usually the case on 6160 kHz in the evenings when interference from Asian stations is at a high level. Interesting to mention: we were successful in crossing the Atlantic on such an occasion near the end of October and received reports from America's eastcoast.

News October 27 2017:

Starting Monday, October 30, with the beginning of the B17 schedule, times for our 6160 kHz outlet have been slightly changed:
10:00 – 12:00 UTC 14:00 – 16:00 UTC 20:00 – 22:00 UTC Schedule for 3975 kHz stays as it is: 12:00 – 14:00 UTC 16:00 – 18:00 UTC 20:00 – 22:00 UTC Mondays to Saturdays
QSLs will be sent off as soon as possible, after 3975 khz is fully operational. Thank you for your patience.

News September 21 2017:

Thank you very much for all your mails so far reporting about the reception of our signals on 6160 kHz in the 49 m band with a simple note, audio files, screenshots of web SDRs or personal photos showing your reception equipment. All this has proven very helpful. The signal quality could be significantly improved step-by-step during the various tests while adjusting transmitter and audio equipment, partly rebuilding the final antenna filter circuit to cater for an increased power output in this custom designed rig. We have five more weeks to complete our test phase so stay tuned on 6160 as well as on 3975 kHz.

News August 13 2017:

First antenna tests have taken place on 6160 kHz and the fitting of the appliances to the transmitting room is well under way. Thank you for all the encouraging reports received for our tests on this channel. We will keep you posted on further developments on this website. Remember: We are in a test phase at the moment, 3975 kHz will be switched on soon.
